I wrote a book about our 26 year estrangement from our daughter, who was adopted at 3 weeks, and married a very possessive man. We were very close until he came along. She returned to us after 26 years because she was told she had one year to live from cancer. She died 5 years ago. I wrote the book under a pen name.
